but for june 2010 – scrrrrap that idea! – we’re going all out techno every Friday & Saturday night, celebrating the core foundation of electronic dance music in all it’s many guises: techno, tech-house, minimal, dub-techno, acid and every other conceivable mutation of the genre, will all get their time.

and in keeping with the whole ethos; there will be no schedule, no events, no names in lights… just the pairing off of Yumla’s finest resident djs into new hybrid nights – different combinations & guests every time – the results of which all equally high quality, all equally different.

Anonymous underground music enjoyed the way it should be: Loud, in a basement, until sunrise.

In addition there will be more d’n'b with our regular night Boom Drop, the ever popular ladies techno blast that is Grrrl Power with residents Wendy Wenn, Ocean Lam and Kerri Monk; plus Taku Hirayama brings in the Japanese big guns when his Macroy posse visits us for a night of mid-week hip-hop… in addition to our new Alt-Wednesday night sessions that keep growing and growing plus the other dates which are filling up rapido… Going to be a great month for music!
